What should we do in Las Vegas tonight?

First, the two rules for a same-day plan

1. Ask for the list before dinner, not after. Same-day guest lists are completely normal in Las Vegas, but they fill, and most cut off around 11pm. A request at 4pm is easy. A request at 10:30pm is a walk up.
2. Pick the night first, then the room. Half the big clubs are dark on any given weeknight, and most bad Vegas nights start with walking to a room that is closed.

Monday

Marquee at The Cosmopolitan is the big room for a Monday now that XS no longer runs Mondays. Otherwise Monday is a lounge and live music night: The Pinky Ring at Bellagio opens at 8pm, Eastside Lounge at Encore runs dueling pianos from 9:30pm, and Easy's at ARIA has live music every night. During football season, Stadium Swim at Circa runs a Monday Night Football watch party in its heated pools.

Tuesday

The quietest night of the week for big clubs, and one of the best for everything else. Lounges are calmer, the live music rooms are easier to walk into, and you can have a genuinely great night without a cover charge anywhere. The Pinky Ring, Eastside Lounge, Easy's and the 24 hour casino level of The Chandelier at The Cosmopolitan are all open.

Wednesday

Hakkasan at MGM Grand opens its week on Wednesday. Marquee runs a Wednesday night in its Library room, Ghostbar opens on the 55th floor at Palms, and The Shag Room at Virgin has an open mic. Add the nightly lounges and Wednesday is a better night out than its reputation.

Thursday

The first real club night of the week. TAO, Zouk and Hakkasan are open, OMNIA opens its terrace and the Heart of OMNIA, and Skyfall at W Las Vegas has DJs from 9pm with the view. Drai's After Hours opens at 1am for anyone still going.

Friday and Saturday

Everything is open: XS, OMNIA, Marquee, TAO, Hakkasan, Zouk, LIV and On The Record, plus every lounge. JEWEL at ARIA runs its final weekends before it closes for good after 21 November 2026. This is the night to be strict about timing, because the lines are longest, the guest list cutoff is enforced hardest and the door price after midnight is the highest of the week. Sunday

OMNIA, TAO and LIV run Sundays, XS opens on select Sundays, and Drai's After Hours carries on from 1am. In the daytime the LAVO Sunday brunch and Stadium Swim's NFL watch party are the two easy wins, and Marquee Dayclub's heated winter Dome runs Thursday to Sunday.
