Can two of us get into a Las Vegas club for free?
Usually, yes. A couple, or any balanced pair, is the easiest group in Las Vegas to get in free: get on a guest list and arrive before the cutoff, usually around 11pm, and most big rooms let you walk in for nothing or close to it. Two women are easier still. Two men can do it too, but early arrival matters more. The exceptions are the handful of nights clubs sell as tickets, such as Grand Prix race night and New Year's Eve.
Why two is the easy number
Las Vegas doors manage the balance of the room. Large groups are a harder ask because they shift that balance on their own. A couple does not, so a couple on a list is about as straightforward an admit as exists. This is the single most common request we get, and the answer is almost always yes.
How it works for two people
- Get on a list for the specific room and night. It costs nothing. The club pays the host, not you. See why guest lists are really free.
- Arrive before the cutoff. Usually around 11pm at the big nightclubs. Be in line by 10:45.
- Use the right line and give the right name. The guest list line is usually next to the VIP entrance rather than at the back of general admission. See which line to stand in.
- Dress for the room. The list gets you a line, not a pass. Collared shirt and real shoes for him at XS; dark jeans and a good shirt clear most other doors.
Two women, two men, and a couple
- Two women: the easiest admit in the city, often free even slightly past the cutoff.
- A couple: straightforward on a list before the cutoff.
- Two men: very doable on a list, but arrive early. At 10:15pm the room is not full and the door is not defending anything. At 12:30am you are paying.
When free does not apply
A few nights a year the big clubs stop running a normal door and sell entry instead. Grand Prix race night on Saturday 21 November 2026 and New Year's Eve are the two that matter right now. XS, for example, listed race night general admission at 150 dollars for women and 200 for men before fees, and New Year's Eve with an open bar at 125 and 200. On those nights, buy ahead rather than counting on a list.
Is a table worth it for two?
Almost never at a nightclub. A table minimum starts around 1,200 to 2,000 dollars, two people cannot drink it and will not want to, and the free list gets you the same room. The one place two people should consider paying for a seat is a live music lounge. At The Pinky Ring at Bellagio, an early slot can carry a low minimum or none, and stage side seating starts around 300 dollars, which for two is a dinner-sized number that includes your drinks and the show. See how to get into The Pinky Ring.
Tell a host which night and which room, and we will put both names on the list. It takes a couple of minutes and there is no fee.
