JEWEL vs Marquee Las Vegas: Which Room Fits Your Group
This is the comparison people actually need and nobody writes, because both rooms sit a tier below the headline names and get skipped in every best-of list. That is exactly why they are worth knowing: you get a top-quality Las Vegas club night without paying marquee prices for it. Here is how they differ.
The one line version
Pick JEWEL if your group wants hip hop and open format, a room you can actually move around in, and the lowest table entry point of any top Strip club. Pick Marquee if you want multiple rooms in one venue, an outdoor terrace over the Strip, or you are out on a Monday.
The rooms
JEWEL at ARIA
Doors at 10:30pm, Friday through Sunday. The main room is compact by Strip standards, which is the point: it feels full and loud at a headcount that would look empty at OMNIA. Behind it sit five intimate VIP suites, each a small private room rather than a booth, which is an unusual product in Las Vegas and the reason a lot of birthday groups end up here.
Tables start around 1,200 dollars, the lowest opening minimum of any top tier Strip nightclub. For a group that wants a real table at a real room without a 2,000 dollar floor, JEWEL is the answer more often than anything else.
Marquee at The Cosmopolitan
Doors at 10pm, Friday, Saturday and Monday. Marquee is really three venues: the Main Room with the big production, the Library, a smaller room with a fireplace and bookshelves that genuinely does not feel like a nightclub, and the Boombox room. Plus a terrace with a Strip view.
Tables start around 1,500 dollars. That buys you optionality: a group that splits on what it wants at 1am can actually split, without leaving the venue or losing the table.
The music
JEWEL leans hip hop and open format with house in the mix. Since the Drai's rooftop closed in October 2025, JEWEL and TAO carry most of the Strip's hip hop calendar, so this is now one of the two default answers for a group that wants songs they know.
Marquee programs across EDM, house, hip hop and open format, and which you get depends heavily on the night and the room you are standing in. The Main Room and the Library can be running completely different energy at the same hour, which is the single best argument for the venue.
The crowd
Both run younger than the lounges and older than a big room EDM night. JEWEL skews slightly more hip hop crowd and slightly more local. Marquee, being at The Cosmopolitan, pulls a lot of guests from the hotel itself, which makes it one of the easier rooms for a group staying on property. If you are weighing whether either suits your age, we went through it in am I too old for Las Vegas clubs.
Tables and what to ask for
Both run a free guest list before 11pm, and at both the cutoff is the single most important thing on this page. Miss it and you are a walk up paying the highest price of the night.
If you are booking a table, the useful request differs by venue:
- At JEWEL, ask about the VIP suites specifically. They are not the default offer and they are a much better fit for a celebration or a group that wants to hear each other than a main floor booth is.
- At Marquee, ask which room the table is in, not just the price tier. A Library table and a Main Room table at similar money are completely different nights.
In both cases the minimum without a location attached is a placeholder rather than a quote. The full map is in club table sections explained.
