How much are drinks at Las Vegas nightclubs?

The numbers

These hold across the major Strip rooms in 2026. Individual venues vary by a couple of dollars either way and holiday weekends push everything up.

• Cocktail, nightclub: 20 to 26 dollars.
• Cocktail, dayclub: 22 to 28 dollars, and frozen or speciality drinks higher.
• Cocktail, resort lounge: 18 to 24 dollars, and usually a considerably better drink.
• Beer: 12 to 18 dollars.
• Shot: 15 to 20 dollars.
• Bottled water: 8 to 12 dollars.
• Red Bull or a mixer on its own: 10 to 15 dollars.
• Standard bottle at a table: 600 to 900 dollars. Champagne and premium labels climb steeply from there.

Add the tip before you decide it is fine

A 24 dollar cocktail is not a 24 dollar cocktail. Tipping a bartender 2 dollars a drink, which is the floor, makes it 26. Four drinks across a night is therefore around 104 dollars per person, not 96, and that is before anything else. For a group of six that is over 600 dollars at the bar on a night where nobody sat down.

Where the same drink costs less

1. Resort lounges. Better ingredients, better made, a couple of dollars cheaper, no cover at the door, and you can hear the person you came with. This is the single biggest gap in value in Las Vegas nightlife and almost nobody exploits it. See how lounges work.
2. Casino floor bars. Materially cheaper than a club bar in the same building, and if you are playing you may not pay at all.
3. Before you go out. The oldest advice in the city and still the most effective.
4. At a table. Counterintuitive, but per drink a shared bottle usually works out below club bar prices once you split it across six or eight people, and you are not queueing.

Why bottle prices look absurd

A 700 dollar bottle of vodka is roughly 30 dollars of liquor. What you are actually paying for is the seat, the server, the space in the room and the entry for your whole group, all bundled into the price of the bottle rather than itemised. Once you see the minimum as rent on a table that happens to come with alcohol, the number stops being offensive and starts being a normal thing to evaluate. Practical notes

• Cards are fine everywhere, but a tab means a hold on your card and a queue at closing. Cash for the bar is faster.
• In club ATMs are punishing. Use one in the casino before you queue.
• Doubles are worth it. If you are going to have two drinks, a double in one glass usually costs less than two singles and saves you a trip.
• Tip on the first round. It changes how quickly you get served for the rest of the night in a three deep crowd.
